Ringkasan Keahlian

Muhammad Taufik memiliki keahlian akademik multidisiplin yang mencakup bidang akuntansi, kebijakan publik, kesehatan, dan rekayasa lingkungan, dengan pergeseran fokus riset yang signifikan pada periode 2022–2026. Publikasi terbarunya menunjukkan orientasi pada evaluasi implementasi kebijakan daerah, seperti yang terlihat pada kajian tentang Peraturan Daerah Nomor 1 Tahun 2019 terkait rehabilitasi korban penyalahgunaan narkotika, psikotropika, dan zat adiktif lainnya (NAPZA) di Sumatera Utara. Selain itu, ia juga meneliti aspek klinis dan terapeutik melalui studi kasus tentang keamanan dan kemanjuran revaskularisasi endovaskular yang dikombinasikan dengan terapi sel punca mesenkimal tali pusat pada pasien dengan iskemia kronis yang mengancam anggota gerak. Di bidang rekayasa material dan lingkungan, ia mengkaji dampak pasokan listrik pada elektro-presipitasi nikel hidroksida dari limbah elektronik industri. Satu lagi publikasi terbarunya mengeksplorasi manfaat ekopsikologis, spiritual, fisiologis, dan suasana hati dari meditasi zikir dan alam bagi mahasiswa Muslim. Sementara itu, publikasi lamanya (2018–2021) lebih banyak berfokus pada nutrisi, pangan fungsional, dan farmakologi eksperimental, seperti analisis komposisi gizi biji kenaf, khasiat sarang burung walet terhadap fungsi kognitif, serta efek perlindungan minyak sawit dan fraksi kaya tokotrienol. Secara keseluruhan, riset mutakhir Taufik bergeser dari kajian laboratorium berbasis pangan dan hewan coba menuju evaluasi kebijakan publik, terapi regeneratif, dan rekayasa lingkungan, dengan tetap mempertahankan minat pada aspek kesehatan dan kesejahteraan manusia.
